After practicing criminal law in New York City and Los Angeles, I returned to Nebraska in 1988 to accept the position of Assistant Attorney General with the Nebraska Department of Justice.
I am currently practicing criminal law in Omaha, Nebraska and over the past several years have opened approximately 250 new criminal defense files per year. These cases include charges of 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Murder, Manslaughter, Sexual Assault, Robbery, Burglary, Arson, Theft and numerous other offenses. I also have represented hundreds of clients charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance on both the State and Federal level. My practice also includes approximately 100 new DUI cases per year.
Prior to entering private practice, I was an Assistant City Prosecutor and an Assistant Attorney General here in Nebraska. My responsibilities included the prosecution of violent crime, including several murder cases, numerous cases involving manslaughter, rape, false imprisonment, burglary and weapon charges. I also prosecuted hundreds of cases involving major drug offenses, including offenses of possession with intent to deliver and the manufacture of a controlled substance.
I am regarded by my peers and the members of the community as one of the most competent and skilled criminal defense attorneys in the area, and I encourage you to confer with anyone regarding my abilities and skills as a criminal defense attorney.
